The Unicorn Woman is a Model Horse Business. I offer scale-miniature tack, tack kits, tack-making supplies, hobby supplies, used model horses, custom leathercraft work, and other items of interest. In addition, I do free-lance writing and teach tack workshops. Recently, I have added the capability for custom machine embroidery.

My hand-crafted show tack is extensively researched to ensure the most authentic product possible. Hours of preparation go into my products. I pore over books, horse magazines, websites, TV programs, official horse breed rulebooks, and additional sources to ensure quality and accuracy. This has led to my show tack being proven LIVE SHOW QUALITY at such prestigious events as Breyerfest Live, the International Federation of Leather Guilds Show, and the Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame "Leather Week" exhibit.

The company was founded in 1980 under the name, Melody's Tack. For a while, it was a subsidiary of Tender Loving Care Nursing and Related Services, Inc. In 1987, the tack business was spun-off. A new name was chosen, The Unicorn Woman. The Unicorn Woman is solely-owned and operated by Melody D. Snow.

For 30+ years, The Unicorn Woman has provided quality tack to the Model Horse Collector and Exhibitor. I expect to be around for many years in the future and look forward to doing business with you.
